Dorothy Jean (Inman) Thompson, age 76, passed away on July 29th, 2022, at her home in Boyne City, Michigan. She was surrounded by family and beloved friends during the course of a prolonged illness, and joined her heavenly family this past Friday.

Dorothy worked at Honeywell Aerospace for more than 20 years, where she is remembered as a soft-spoken, nurturing friend to many. She was tender -hearted and showed a kind disposition towards others, and had a ready smile and a sparkling sense of humor. She loved cooking and taking care of others; she was a member of Walloon Lake Community Church, regularly attending services, Bible study classes, prayer meetings, picnics, and chauffeuring kids, grandkids, and friends to Wednesday night kids clubs and Bible Summer Camp until her illness progressed beyond her ability to attend. She loved to learn new things and to visit with friends and family.
