Edward Michael Daniels

Edward M. Daniels, 66, of Boyne City, Michigan, passed away on January 22, 2026, at Medilodge in Gaylord, Michigan.

Son of James Daniels (Joanne) and Rose (Stritzel) Daniels, Edward was born on July 1, 1959, in Redford Township by Detroit, Michigan. He grew up in Redford and in Boyne City and graduated from Boyne City High School on June 3, 1977.

On August 24, 1979, he married Nancy Lou Harris in Charlevoix, Michigan.

Edward was a lifelong carpenter who shared his skills with many companies. Most notably Todd and Floyd Wright. He used his skills to help many family and friends with their projects.

Edward enjoyed riding his motorcycles and spending time with his grandkids.

He was a member of the A Heads Motorcycle Club.

Edward is survived by his wife Nancy (Harris) Daniels, daughters Carrie (Daniels) Gregware and Jessica (Matt) Gerloff; grandchildren RaeAnne Gregware, Jayden Gerloff, and Alyson Gerloff; brother Eric (Terri) Daniels; sisters Sandra Meredith and Janet Sizemore; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and some aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his parents James and Rose Daniels, and brother James Daniels.

No services are planned at this time, but it may be announced in the future.
