Ela Michel Obituary

Ela J. “Jean” Michel, age 91, of Cheboygan passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Silver Fox Assisted Living Facility in Afton. She was born October 12, 1929 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of Abe and Essie (Moreland) Jones.

Jean was known as “Spitfire” to her friends and enjoyed crafting, especially painting, drawing and sewing. Before moving to Afton, she had also attended Faith Baptist Church.

A memorial service will take place at the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, April 8 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jim Currie officiating.
