Eloise Neumann Obituary

Eloise M. Neumann, 100 years old of Cheboygan, Michigan passed away on January 6, 2024.  She was born on October 8, 1923 in Galesburg, Michigan to Alexander and Eloise (Butcher) Sarrault.

On August 21, 1944 Eloise married Lyle Lippard, Sr. and they had five children: Linda, Nancy, Lyle Jr., Debbie and Diane.

On June 19, 1971 Eloise married Frederick Neumann who preceded her in death on September 3, 2011.

Eloise’s hobbies included tending to her award winning flower gardens, reading her favorite western novels, crafting projects, and creating intricate counted cross stitch embroidery which are treasured by her family.  She enjoyed helping build several beautiful homes along side her husband Fred, and their many travels throughout the United States and Europe. Eloise loved ranch life in Colorado, their Arabian horses, and spending time with Square Dancing and Saddle Club friends. She also loved residing in Louisiana where they hosted campfire gatherings and fish fries, exchanging fun filled stories with their camping friends. Although Eloise and Fred’s travels were wonderful, they longed to return to Michigan to be close to family.
