Gary A. Alles

Gary Alexander Alles, age 74, passed away at home on June 9, 2022. He was born February 4, 1948 in Flint, MI, the son of Walter and Stella (Reed) Alles. On July 21, 1984 Gary married Vickie McDonald at their favorite campground in Scottville, MI.

After graduating high school, Gary served in the Marine Corps. He was a volunteer paramedic at Davison Area Ambulance and belonged to an Archery Club. Gary was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He retired from General Motors in June of 1997 after 30 years. He then moved to Cheboygan to continue his hunting and fishing.

Gary is survived by his wife Vickie, daughter Tiffany Schwartz, three grandchildren; Alexander (Elizabeth) Schwartz, Alyssa Schwartz, and Marissa Alles- Bates, two great- grandchildren; Wesley and Violet Schwartz, his sister Cassandra Ruggieri, his church family at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and beloved dog Rocket.

He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Stella, his son Aaron Alles, step- son Richard McDonald Jr., and his siblings; Marilyn and Jake Alles.

Services for Gary will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Hear­t Association.
