Gary James Lee

Gary James Lee 61 of Boyne City, Michigan died November 29, 2021 in Charlevoix, Michigan.

Gary born on February 21, 1960 in Chicago, IL the son of Ernest Lee and Betty Austin grew up in Marshall, Indiana. Gary attended Terre Haute South High School and graduated from Hyles Anderson with a pastors refresher course and Bay Mills Community College with a certificate of prison security.

On May 30, 1992, Gary married Kristina Wittke in Waterloo, Iowa.

Gary served four years as a U.S. Marine.

He worked for Meijer and drove bus number 6 for Petoskey School System.

Gary loved to read, do crossword puzzles, go fishing, go camping, help people have a better day, and really enjoyed singing.

He attended Ontario Baptist Church of East Jordan, MI.

He is survived by his sister Linda of Indianapolis, IN; his brother Bobby Lee of Terre Haute, IN; his wife Kristina Lee of Boyne City, MI; his daughters Hannah Lee of Minneapolis, MN; and Bethany Lee and spouse of Mt. Pleasant, MI; his sons Nathaneal Lee of Boyne City, MI; and Timothy Lee and family of Boyne City, MI.

Visitation will start at noon on December 15, 2021 at the Ontario Baptist Church and Pastor Dan Swank will officiate the memorial service at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
