Gene Reck Obituary

Gene Paul Reck, 83, of Cross Village, passed away September 23, 2020.

Gene was born on September 12, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to Kye and Ruth (Belyea) Reck.

Gene was a pillar of his community and will be remembered for Three Pines Studio and Gallery which he operated alongside his wife, Joann. He also served as the Township Supervisor of Cross Village and as a first responder with RFC.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Joann Condino; daughter, Cathrine Reck and son in law, William Unrue of Bloomington, Indiana; son, Ronald Reck and daughter in law Olga of Clifton, Virginia; grandson, Sabien Reck; and Gene’s “adopted daughter”, Madeline Michaels.
