Harry loved coming up North for the summer and eventually move to Horton Bay after a stint in the Navy and attending the Electronics Institute of Detroit. He married Julia on July 29, 1966 and lived his remaining 56 years in Horton Bay, where he attended the Horton Bay United Methodist Church. He loved living the in the country on his 40 acres. He was a Ham Radio Operator with the call of NZ8F. He had a great sense of humor and loved making odd or weird sounds for a reaction from children, the Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
