Harry D. Caldecott
Henry (Harry) D. Caldecott, age 90 of Horton Bay, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He was born on October 14, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to Bertram and Eldora Caldecott. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Julia; his four children Cheryl (Charles) Robinson of Horton Bay, Brenda (Andy) Hornak of New Berlin, Wisconsin, Paul of Boyne City and Kyle (Kim) of Traverse City; Eight Grandchildren Hannah, Cameron, Dylan, Simon, Violet, Celeste, Olivia and Hannah and four Great Grandchildren Benjamin, Doris, Madelyn & Bruce. Harry loved coming up North for the summer and eventually move to Horton Bay after a stint in the Navy and attending the Electronics Institute of Detroit. He married Julia on July 29, 1966 and lived his remaining 56 years in Horton Bay, where he attended the Horton Bay United Methodist Church. He loved living the in the country on his 40 acres. He was a Ham Radio Operator with the call of NZ8F. He had a great sense of humor and loved making odd or weird sounds for a reaction from children, the Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 10th at 10:00am at the Horton Bay United Methodist Church with a luncheon to follow.
