Iola was a wonderful caring person. Her door was always open to anyone. But she was also a strong woman and wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself and family. She made people feel special, whether it was doing something with or for them. Iola enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, working on jigsaw puzzles, reading fiction, playing cards, bingo, and an occasional casino trip. Iola loved music and dancing. She always had a grand time when her sisters were around. She was a fabulous cook and made every holiday special.
