With deepest sorrow, we share the passing of Jackson Oliver McCardle, age 14, of Alanson, Michigan, who tragically left us on August 3, 2025.

Born on September 28, 2010, in Petoskey, Michigan, Jackson was a loving son, an amazing big brother to Caden and Addison, and a dear friend to so many. His thoughtful nature, radiant smile, and generous heart had a way of lighting up every room he entered.

Jackson had a creative spirit and artistic talent far beyond his age. A brilliant artist and aspiring YouTuber, he loved sharing his imagination and ideas with the world. He had a passion for his favorite video games and an incredible ability to connect with others. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Jackson made a difference simply by being himself.

He is survived by his parents, Magen Sloniker and Jeremy Elyea; his siblings, Caden and Addison; his grandparents, Terri McCardle and Patrick Sloniker; his uncles, Patrick Sloniker and Christopher Sloniker; and many loving friends and extended family members who will forever cherish his memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 23rd, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the North Sturgeon Bay shoreline, past the dunes, second trailhead on the left. The path will be marked, and all who loved Jackson are welcome to join in honoring his beautiful life.

Though his time here was far too short, Jackson’s impact will live on through every heart he touched. His laughter, kindness, and light will never be forgotten.
