Jimi was born on September 8, 1961 in Port Huron, MI, the son of James and Joan (Mudridge) McTevia and was raised in Port Huron, where he attended the Port Huron Northern High School. Jimi loved the ocean and was at peace while on his paddle board. He also always had a deep connection with sea turtles and used to enjoy watching them be released at the Loggerhead Sea Turtle Rescue Center in Jupiter, Florida. Jimi had a precious soul and was loved deeply by those whom he encountered in his life. Most importantly, Jimi loved Jesus and kept a deep connection through the various organizations that helped him grow spiritually.
