Jennifer Myers Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jennifer Lynn Myers (née Harris)

April 10, 1976 – September 5, 2025

Jennifer Lynn Myers of Harbor Springs, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, after living courageously for five years with cancer. Throughout her illness, Jen embodied grace, strength, and unwavering determination. In her final days, she was surrounded by the love and care of family and friends—a testament to the deep connections she nurtured throughout her life.

Born in Wyandotte, Michigan, Jen was the beloved daughter of Boyd and Deborah Harris and sister to Amanda. She met the love of her life, John David Myers, during a golf lesson at Barton Hills Country Club in Ann Arbor. They married there on September 16, 2006, beginning a beautiful life together. Jen and John welcomed their son Davis in 2007 and daughter Quinn in 2009. She embraced her role as a devoted mother.

Jen was a proud Bronco, having attended both Western and Eastern Michigan Universities, where she earned a degree in Art History. Her creative spirit and entrepreneurial drive led her to explore real estate alongside her father, whose craftsmanship she deeply admired. She later opened a resale shop in Grass Lake, Michigan, and in 2011, launched Pink Trillium Photography in Harbor Springs. Through her lens, Jen captured life’s most precious moments, blending artistry with heartfelt connection.

More than anything, Jen was a gatherer of people. She never missed an opportunity to get together - whether it was “Village” meetups, Tuesdays on the back porch, festive Kentucky Derby parties or spontaneous hula hooping on the lawn of the Grand Hotel!  She was a fixture at Pond Hill Farm and a constant presence at John’s golf tournaments, Davis’s adventures and Quinn’s sporting events. Her friendships were many and deep, and she made everyone feel seen, valued, and loved.

Jen had a vibrant sense of fashion, often styled with a trademark statement necklace. She treasured family trips to Aruba, escapes to Mackinac Island, and adventures in Tennessee with her grandmother—later sharing those same experiences with friends and loved ones. 90s grunge music was the soundtrack of her life, especially the band Sponge, whose songs will always remind us of her.  But what we’ll remember most about Jen was that she was incredibly selfless - never wanting to ask anything of others;  amazingly strong - never giving up on anything or anyone; and remarkably artistic - which will live on through her photography and decorative touches in her home.

Jen was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Harris, and her sweet Labrador, Emmet and we find comfort knowing their reunion was joyful. She is survived by her husband John, children Davis and Quinn, mother Deborah Harris, sister Amanda Harris, nephew Austin, nieces Hannah and Sophia, and a wide circle of friends she considered family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to support the Infusion Department at Munson Charlevoix are appreciated, their compassionate care meant so much to Jen and her family.

Please make checks out to: the Infusion Center at Munson Charlevoix Hospital; citing “in memory of Jennifer Myers” on the memo line.

Jen’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and togetherness. She reminded us—right up to her final moments—that life is best lived in community, and that gathering with those we love is the greatest gift of all.
In Jen’s words, which will forever live in our hearts, “I’m fine, see you next Tuesday.”

A Celebration of Life will take place at Pond Hill Farm, 5699 S. Lake Shore Dr, Harbor Springs, on Tuesday, September 23rd at 2:00 pm.
