Jessica “Jessie” Ann Moore, 51, of Pellston, Michigan, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and accomplished architect, passed away peacefully in her home on October 6, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born and raised in northern Michigan, Jessie pursued a passion for design, earning an undergraduate and master’s degree in architecture from the University of Michigan before starting her own successful architecture firm. Her creative vision and thoughtful, hands-on approach shaped countless buildings and homes and left a lasting mark on those who built, used, or lived in them.
Outside of her professional work, Jessie found joy outdoors, peace in her garden, and her greatest happiness in time shared with family. She loved through acts of service and lived to the fullest having countless adventures that included trips, hiking, kayaking, scuba and sky diving, and bungee jumping.
Jessica was the beloved only child of the late Noreen “Nora” Moore and is survived by her father, Paul C. Moore. Jessie’s greatest pride was her family. She shared over 20 years of marriage with her devoted husband Clyde Wagenshutz and is also survived by their adored son Clay Wagenschutz, stepchildren Lisa (Aaron) Campanella and Cole (Katilyn) Wagenschutz, and grandchildren-Makayla (Donvee) Burks, Caleb Campanella, Cara Campanella, and William Wagenschutz.
Jessie’s warmth, intelligence, drive, and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A celebration of life is currently being planned with details to follow from the family.
