Jimmy Leo May

Jimmy Leo May, age 72 of Alanson, MI, passed away on May 3, 2025.

Jimmy was born on March 6, 1953 in Petoskey the son of Gordon and Shirley (Kerbersky) May.  He grew up in Alanson and attended school graduated from Littlefield – Alanson High School.

He enjoyed Top O’ Michigan Boat Racing, time spent working on his yard, caring for his mom, Shirley, and visiting with friends.  Jimmy was also a member of the Brutus Congregation of the Jehovah’s Witness.

Jimmy is survived by his mother Shirley, sisters Ruth Holcomb, Judy (Larry) Whitten and Mary (Matt) Hoppe; brother Lyle (Diane) May and son Justin May.

He is preceded in death by his son William May, father Gordon May, brothers Daniel and David May.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Friday, May 9, 2025 at the Littlefield Township Cemetery.  Patrick Pflug of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Brutus Congregation will be officiating.
