John Henry LeGrand

John Henry LeGrand, 83, of Petoskey, Michigan, died December 22, 2025, at his home.

John was born July 18, 1942, the son of Henry and Elsie (Jakeway) LeGrand. He grew up in Petoskey and attended Petoskey High School.

On July 17, 1965, he married Elaine Sikkens.

John owned Transplants Unlimited for many years. He loved collecting and working on cars. He also liked providing camp wood for the campers for many years. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

He is survived by his wife Elaine; son Henry John LeGrand (Katrina Fennel); daughter Tammy LeGrand; grandsons Dillon Fortune (Breanna Vanderhoff) and Wyatt Fortune; brother Robert (Vivian) LeGrand; nephew Robert (Haley) LeGrand II; niece Elizabeth (Brenton) Smith; and great-nieces Slyvia and Eva.

He is preceded in death by his father Henry; mother Elsie; and brother Richard “Dickie”.

There will be a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (1830 Shaw Rd, Petoskey, MI 49770) on January 3, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
