John F Regan

John Regan, 64, of Boyne City passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 9, 2021.

He was born on May 19, 1957, in Boston, Massachusetts the son of John and Agnes (Goggin) Regan. He was a 1975 graduate of Bethel Park High School, Bethel Park, PA. He married his wife of 34 years, Lindsay Regan (1957-2016), on July 23, 1981.

John was a successful computer technology entrepreneur and built multiple businesses throughout the years. John loved boating and spending as much time as possible on the water in his boat the Póig Mo Thóin. Friends in Michigan, Florida, and beyond will remember their joyful experiences with John.

John is survived by his fiancé, Cheryl Blaskowski; two daughters, Raina of Washington, DC and Shannon (Matthew Keller) of Arlington, VA; granddaughter Virginia; sisters Peggy Shay and Kathy, and nephew Michael Shay (Karilyn). He was preceded in death by his parents.

Due to ongoing concerns around COVID, the family will be celebrating John’s life in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Challenge Mountain in Boyne City.
