John Burrows “JB”, 72, of Petoskey, passed away unexpectedly at home June 30, 2025.
John was born on April 26, 1953, in Petoskey, MI, the son of Fred Burrows and Alice (Price) Burrows. He grew up in Petoskey and graduated from St. Francis Xavier Catholic School. On March 12, 1982, he married Vicky Chew in Petoskey at the Justice of the Peace. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He was a partial owner of Bay Shore Art and Antiques in Bay Shore.
John is survived by his wife Vicky Burrows, siblings David (Mary) Burrows, Steve (Amy Shay) Burrows, nephew Tyler Burrows, sister in law Terri Carson and niece April (Stuart) Holman, adopted grandson Beau Turcott Henning, as well as friend Gabe Eggers. He was preceded by his parents, brother Jim Burrows, and many aunts and uncles.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00 noon, at the former Bay Shore Art & Antiques at 1499 Townline Road in Bay Shore.
