Judith Anne (Beer) Conti

Judith Anne Conti, 84, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025.

Judy was born September 21, 1940, to George and Julia Beer in Petoskey, MI. She graduated from North Central Michigan College and married her high school sweetheart William Conti in June of 1960. They enjoyed raising their family in Petoskey.

Judy from a young age helped raise her brother Jim and sisters Kathy, Mary Ann, Marie and Rita. Both her father and mother worked full-time jobs relying on her for help in cooking and other duties around the house. Her willingness to lend a helping hand carried on through her life.

Working as a librarian at Ottawa School was one of the highlights of her career. Judy always loved kids. Her love for a good book was evident throughout her life. Going to the public library or a bookstore were a regular part of her daily routine.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Conti; and her sisters Rita Salazar and Kathy Carrico.

Judy is survived by her sons Joe (Trish) Conti and Rich (Katie) Conti; sisters Marie Sheets and Mary Ann (Sam) Strong; her brother Jim Beer; grandkids; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Memorial donations are asked to be directed to Little Traverse Bay Humane Society or the Petoskey District Library. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Stone Funeral Home.
