Karl Ronald Hagerman

Karl Ronald Hagerman, age 82, passed away on March 27th, 2023, in his home. Karl, who went by "Ron" or "Ronnie", was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on September 19th, 1940. After high school, Ron served in the Navy. Once he was discharged, he returned to Ann Arbor, where he worked for Edwards Brothers INC, until his retirement. He was the son of Ronald and Lucille (Miller) Hagerman. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings, Gail Thomas, Robert Hagerman, and James Hagerman. Ron also lost his only son, Michael Hagerman, in 1989 and his wife, Jane Hagerman, who was the absolute love of his life, in 2019. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Hagerman, and his only grandchild, Elle Hacker.

Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time on the lake with family and friends, snowmobiling, working on anything with a motor, and doing any favors for friends and family. He was well-known for helping those around him with any task needed; he truly would do anything for anyone. He also had a strong love for the outdoors, as he was passionate about being out in nature and caring for
wildlife. He loved all animals and enjoyed spending time with them both indoors and outdoors.

A celebration of life will take place for him and his beloved wife, Jane, in the summer of 2023.
