Kathleen "Kathy" (Daniels) Ford

Kathleen “Kathy” Teres (Daniels) Ford, 59 of Alanson, passed away on June 23, 2020 at the McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Kathy was born on March 12, 1961 in Petoskey, the daughter of Harold A. and Esther E. (Hoyt) Daniels.  She attended school in Petoskey before moving to Alanson, from where she graduated in 1979. 

On October 15, 1983, Kathy married the love of her life, Terrence Ford of Levering and together they made their home in Alanson and had two children, Dora and Zachary. 

Kathy was an extremely hard worker and was employed at various places from Levering to Petoskey.  Her friendly, outgoing personality made her loved by many and friends to all she met.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Nancy Ford; brothers, Michael and James Daniels.    She is survived by her husband, Terry; children, Dora (Bryan) Graczyk (and grandson due in July) and Zachary Ford; sisters, Colleen O’Neill, Sharon Wagar, Sharyl (Lyle) Wolf, Valerie Budnik, and Linda (Kelly) Cleaver; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held on her favorite holiday, July 4th, at her sister Valerie’s home at 3858 Red School Road, Brutus, MI 49716 beginning at 11am.

Those wishing to honor Kathy’s memory are asked to make a donation to the family, in care of her husband, Terry.
