Kathryn "Kathy" Ann Koskuc

Kathryn “Kathy” Ann Koskuc, 59, passed away at Boulder Park Terrace in Charlevoix, on October 28, 2025, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Kathy was born on January 25, 1966, in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Michael and Sharon (Chase) Koskuc. She graduated from Petoskey High School in 1984. After high school, Kathy attended Central Michigan University where she obtained a teaching degree.

She had a great ability to make friends instantly, and as a result she was loved by so many.

She is survived by her parents Michael and Sharon Koskuc; her sons, Connor McGonigal and Logan (Courtney) McGonigal; granddaughters Adalynn and Evalee McGonigal; brothers Stephen and Brian (Miki) Koskuc; nephew AJ Koskuc; niece Kira Koskuc; as well as many in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Her family would like to acknowledge the staff at Boulder Park Terrace in Charlevoix and Pinecrest Village in Mackinaw City for the great care Kathy received over the years.

There will be Memorial Mass at the Cross in the Woods Shrine (7078 M-68, Indian River, MI 49749) on November 6, 2025, at 12:00 noon, with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Father Patrick Maher will officiate. There will be a lunch provided at the parish hall immediately following Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations to McLaren Hospice (360 Connable Ave, Suite 3, Petoskey, MI 49770) and The Kirk Gibson Foundation for Parkinson’s (31440 Northwestern Hwy, Suite 185, Farmington Hills, MI 48334) would be greatly appreciated.
