Leslie A. (Hall) Jones

Beloved wife, sister, and friend, Leslie A. Jones peacefully passed at her home to be with our Lord on September 9, 2023.  Leslie was born September 18, 1964 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Edward J. & Bernice Hall.

She was raised in Detroit and Southfield, MI and graduated from Southfield-Lathrup High School.  She then went on to nursing school to go follow her dream of serving others.  Leslie married Dr. David P. Jones in 1993 and resided in Grosse Pointe, East Jordan, and Petoskey.

Leslie’s love for animals was evident throughout her life, including donating time and resources to local animal shelters, and rescuing dogs and horses in need of love and support.  Leslie and her husband founded Beaver Chase Farms in East Jordan, MI.  At Beaver Chase Farms, she followed another dream of breeding and raising Clydesdale horses.  Her passion and love for animals produced nationally acclaimed Clydesdales, highlighted by several of her Clydesdales on the acclaimed Budweiser Clydesdales Team.

Leslie is survived by her husband, David P. Jones, and her siblings, Edward Hall and Wendolyn Hall.
