Linda was dedicated to making sure all her students felt respected and supported in her classroom. She loved local history and was a member of the Cheboygan Genealogical Society. Linda was a creative spirit who enjoyed singing in the choir, playing the piano, and quilting.
Linda loved the North Woods. When she was young, her family would gather at the “Big Cabin” fishing, picking blueberries, and exploring the Upper Peninsula. Later, Linda passed on this love to her nieces and nephews by taking them to a cabin on Pike Lake for the summer. She also had a heart for animals and took in many beloved “rescues” over the years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, aunt Barbara Eustice, uncle Maurice Eustice, cousin Sally Eustice, and nephew Phred Geyer. Linda is survived by her sister, Pamela Kail, brother, John (Cindy) Geyer, cousin Kathy Eustice, nieces Betsy Geyer and Amanda Kail, nephew Andrew Kail, and many other relatives and friends.
