Linda Lee Moulder, 81 of Cheboygan, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025 at her home.
Linda was born on April 1, 1944 in Pontiac, MI, the daughter of Charles Edgar Hall and LeMaine Marie (Sharon) Hall. She grew up in Waterford and attended high school at Waterford Township High School. She went on to raise two sons all on her own, which she was very proud of. Linda went back to college at the age of 50, earning a Bachelor of Science from Oakland University. In 2006, she retired from General Motors after 31 years. She started on the line, rose to foreman, and was a material handling supervisor when she retired. In 2016 she married Fred Moulder at the Cheboygan County Court House. Linda was a fiercely independent, strong-willed, and brutally honest woman who always accomplished what needed to be done. It had been said that once you met Linda, you never forgot her. Linda enjoyed having a drink, watching both football and basketball, dancing, and knitting. She was a highly skilled knitter, having had made many of her own items of clothing. Baby blankets and sweaters are treasured gifts that she blessed her family members with over the years.
Linda is survived by her husband Fred Moulder, son Dale (Jodie Gillotte) Owen, daughter in law Michelle Owen, stepchildren Mary Ann (Jeff) Thrasher and Matthew Moulder, grandchildren Hannah Owen and Emily Owen, step-grandchildren Taylor Thrasher and Clayton Thrasher. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Cecilia and Ava, as well as siblings Jimmy, Bobby, Patty, Johnny. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and LaMaine Hall, children Richard Allen Owen and Roger Charles Owen, grandchild McKenzie Owen, and siblings George Hall and Charles Hall.
A private family service for Linda is scheduled for July 9, 2025 at 1pm at the Pinehill Cemetery in Cheboygan MI.
