Lolita Rita (Buckmaster) Lake, age 92 of Boyne City, Michigan, passed away at her home with her children by her side on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Daughter of George Clyde and Hazel (Jones) Buckmaster, Lolita was born on July 10, 1932, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she was one of 14 children.
She married the love of her life Eldon Lake of Boyne City, and they raised five children together.
Lolita worked at Boyne Products factory for 19 years. She also worked as a CNA for over 24 years in a care facility in Petoskey, Michigan.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Lolita is survived by her five children: Jeannette Gilbert, Kathy (Leon) Sulak, Eldon Lake, Linda (John) Marshall, and Dan Lake; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, Eldon Lake; grandson Corey Sulak.
A visitation will be held at Stackus Funeral Home on May 2, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
