Lucille Locke Obituary

Lucille Marjorie Locke, 94, passed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 9, 2021at Medilodge in Rogers City. She was born April 16, 1926 in Flint, the daughter of Rollie and Mina (Marks) Hittle. In 1951, Lucille married Robert E. Locke who preceded her in death on January 30, 2013.

Lucille enjoyed knitting, puzzles and crafting.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Jeff (Nancy) Locke, Marsha (Michael) Short, Sandie (Don) Sabin and Sharon (Stanford) Flannagan, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.

Besides her husband Robert and her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her brother, Don Hittle.

Burial will take place in the spring at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens in Sault Ste. Marie. Arrangements are being handled by the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home.
