Lydia "Lee" Llarenas Kelley

Lydia “Lee” Llarenas Kelley, 79, of Petoskey, Michigan passed away on April 3, 2025, at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital. Lydia was born on August 21, 1945, in Bauang, L.A. Union Philippines to Isidro F. Llarenas and Maria Dolores (Nonos) Llarenas. She grew up in the Philippines and went on to attend the Paris Academy of Fashion Dress Designing and graduated with top grade honors. On October 5, 1988, she married Brian Patrick Kelley in Southern Wales, United Kingdom. Later in life she immigrated to the United States eventually settling in northern Michigan.

Lydia was a master seamstress and gardener, and in her spare time she loved to sing and whistle especially to the Lord.

She was a devoted member of Landmark Baptist Church of Petoskey, MI.

She is survived by her husband Brian Kelley; children Lyndon Vistan, Sr., Jennifer Vistan Morales, Jacqueline Vistan Abon, and Janslise O. Tamorado; and many friends and congregation members.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday April 10, 2025, at Landmark Baptist Church. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
