Marilyn Amorose Obituary

Marilyn Amorose, 98, of Petoskey, passed away March 28, 2024.

She was born on December 28, 1925, in Butler, PA and was the daughter of John and Helen Wilson.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Petoskey.

She married Fred Amorose on September 7, 1946, in Blasdell, NY. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2020. They were married 74 years.

They had four children: Gae (deceased), Jay Amorose of Grand Blanc, MI, Joy (David) McBride of Petoskey, MI, and Jon (deceased). She is also survived by her granddaughter Adria; four great-grandchildren, Blase, Kaleigh, Jaelynn, and Gage; several nieces and nephews; and son-in-law Don Fitch.

Private interment service will be officiated by Pastor Ryan Donahoe at the Greenwood Scattering Garden in Petoskey.

Donations in her memory are asked to please be directed to the First Presbyterian Church of Petoskey or Little Traverse Bay Hospice Fund care of the Petoskey/Harbor Springs Community Foundation.
