Marion J. Zyber

Marion Julia Zyber, 92, of Indian River, Michigan passed away on Monday, July
27th, 2020 at the Hospice House in Cheboygan, Michigan. She was born on
January 5, 1928 in Flint, Michigan, to Stephanus and Sarah (Prohaska) Jenca.
She married Eugene Frederick Zyber on August 23rd, 1947 and they resided in
Flushing, Michigan until 1987 when they relocated to Indian River, Michigan.

Marion worked for Buick Motors for 40 years as a Statistician and Office
Manager. She belonged to the Embroidery Guild of America completing
projects donating to the military. Her hobbies included cake decorating,
stitching, knitting, ceramics and gardening. She was a member of The Cross In
The Woods Catholic Church in Indian River.

She is survived by her son Gary (Carol) Zyber of Indian River, her granddaughter
Leah (Matt) Wasserman of Harbor Springs and two great-grandsons, Owen and
Kai whom she loved so dearly, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene F. Zyber, son Larry, and
sisters Joan and Bridget.

At the families request, services for Marion were held privately. On behalf of
Marion, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or The Arthritis
Foundation. A funeral mass and memorial celebration may be held at a later
time.
