Mark Wayne Striebich

Mark Wayne Striebich, age 53 of Cheboygan, Michigan passed away at home on March 12, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1973, in Cheboygan, the son of John “Bob” and Sharon (Robillard) Striebich.

Mark attended and graduated from Cheboygan Area Schools and was a proud member of the Carpenters Union. On July 30, 1994, he married the love of his life, Julie Hudak, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cheboygan. Together, they built a life centered around their two sons, Austin and Chase, who meant everything to him.

From the time they were young, Mark shared his love of the outdoors with his boys, taking them hunting and fishing and creating countless memories along the way. They spent many seasons together, bringing home beautiful bucks and memorable catches, moments they would always cherish.

He is survived by his two sons, Austin and Chase (Ryann Hoglund) both of Cheboygan; his future grandchildren, Jayce and Elijah Hoglund of Cheboygan; his mother Sharon Striebich of Cheboygan; and his mother-in-law Dorothy Hudak. Also surviving Mark are several Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins.

Mark was preceded in death by his wife Julie in 2014; his father John “Bob” in 2003; and his brother David in 2017.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place, a Celebration of Life will be held in Early May, a time and place will be announced when finalized.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to his two sons, Austin and Chase.
