Mary Louise (Lyons) Kruskie

Mary Louise Kruskie, 83 of Petoskey passed away October 31, 2019. Mary was born June 11, 1936, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Ashenbrenner) Lyons. She was raised in Petoskey and was a member of the first graduating class of St. Francis Xavier Catholic School. She married Eugene Kruskie of Harbor Springs on October 4, 1957 and were married for 63 years.

Mary enjoyed creating special things for her family. You could see the love for her family in the things she created. Her faith and her family came before anything else in her life.

Mary was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cross Village. She also participated in many church activities helping others with their life or prayers for them.

Mary is survived by her husband, Eugene; and her three sons, John, Alan, and Mark.

There will be a mass of celebration of life at Holy Childhood Church in Harbor Springs on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. A one hour visitation will be held prior to the mass. Burial will take place at St. Francis Cemetery.
