Mary J. Platenik, age 93, of Petoskey, MI, (and formerly Farmington Hills, MI), passed away June 20, 2025.

Beloved mother of Paul (Kim) of Barrington, IL; Anne of Wauconda, IL; and Barbara of Petoskey, MI. Cherished grandmother of Paige of Williamsburg, NY, and Lauren of Dallas, TX.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, John, and son, David.

A private family service is planned for later this summer.
