Michael "Mike" Henry Plante

Michael (Mike) Henry Plante, age 71, was born in Montreal Quebec Canada, January 27th 1950

He moved to the US in 1974. And became a US citizen in June 2016. He passed away in Gaylord Michigan, November 12th 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gil and Yvette Plante and his sister, Renee Middleton.  

He married his beloved wife Sandy on November 5th 1984. Mike was a loving husband and father of 3. He was kind, generous and genuine, with a heart of gold. He enjoyed his time with his family. He also enjoyed traveling, collecting various things from pocket knives to antique currencies, and playing cards with his family. And his job of 21 years as a tool and die technician at CCC in harbor springs.

Mike is survived by his wife Sandy Plante. And their three daughters, Becky (Corey) Ecker. Kaitlyn Plante (Brandon Swegles). Michelle (Zachary) Duncan. And 12 grandchildren, Bradley, Aria, Riley, Delaini, Corinne and Orion. Connor, Lincoln, and Barrett. Zebulun, Zoey, and Elijah. 

All whom he loved deeply.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City with a gathering of family and friends being held from 12:00 noon until the time of service.

There will be luncheon after the memorial at Community of Christ Church, 777 Vogel St, Boyne City.
