Micheal Paul Wiatrolik

Micheal “Mike” Paul Wiatrolik, 53, of Alanson, Michigan walked on March 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born to Deborah Ann (Smith) Martin and Steven Clark Wiatrolik on May 8, 1971, in Kankakee, Illinois. He grew up in Momence, IL and graduated from Momence High School in 1989. On April 11, 2003, Mike married his forever adoring wife, Bethany Michelle Dooley. The two enjoyed a private ceremony in Petoskey, MI and went on to spend 21 wonderful years together raising their incredible family. Mike worked for many years as a contractor and there was virtually nothing that he couldn’t repair or improve upon for his family and at work.

In his spare time Mike enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching football. He was an avid collector of Marvel Comics memorabilia, and he enjoyed reading the comics and watching the movies. Most of all he loved spending time with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. He was an incredibly proud Papa to Lilly.

He is survived by his wife Bethany Michelle (Dooley) Wiatrolik; children Micheal Paul, Jr., Tyler, Kaila (Zach), and Brian; grandchildren Lilly and Adeline; brothers Brian (Krissy) Wiatrolik and Jeff Wiatrolik; sister Melissa Wiatrolik; in-laws Jo and Ray; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mike now joins his parents Deborah Ann (Smith) Martin and Steven Clark Wiatrolik who have walked on.  

The family will welcome his friends and family to celebrate and honor his life with them at his memorial service at Greensky Hill Indian United Methodist Church on Thursday March 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held one hour prior. A luncheon will be held after the service at the church. Burial will be held in the spring of 2025.
