Milton 7/8/1931 – 3/2/2022                       Betty 10/10/1931 – 2/8/2022

Their 71+ year love story started in Topinabee at the Breakers on a blind date arranged by his big sister Barb. That love story created 6 children, 16 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren!! They started their married life together in San Angelo, Texas when Milton was stationed at Goodfellow AFB. After serving in the Airforce, they moved to the Detroit area. After living there for 9 years, they moved their family to Cheboygan where they shared a lifetime of working together, side by side. Their love for each other was priceless and never more prevalent than in their senior years together.

Their love for family, The Tigers, Relay for Life, and working with each other was truly, a match made in heaven.

They were preceded in death by their daughter Pamela Jean Smalley, their son Brian Jeffery Sova, and great granddaughter Madeline Grace Urland, and several brothers and sisters. Milton is survived by his bother Bill (Annette) Sova, Sisters; Barb (John) Archambo, Mary Gaynor, Sharon LaHaie, and Sandy Beard. Betty is survived by her brother Frank (Marylou) Fox. Their children, Rosaline (Dennis) Despain, Joseph (Sandy) Sova, Kimberly (Carl) Rae, Maria (Dan) VanAlstine, and son-in-law Chuck Smalley. Several nieces and nephews that held a special place in their hearts. 16 grandchildren; Matthew (Kara) Urland, Timothy (Shani) Urland, James (Alison) Urland, Russel (Angie) Despain, Kristi (Todd) Woolston, John Despain, Chuck Smalley, Carrie Smalley, Emilie (Karl) Victor, Dustin (Carol) Sova, Eric (Haylee Baker) Rae, Alex (Susan Rodriguez) Rae, Abigail (Matt Crain) Rae, Amanda (Dillon) Livingston, Rhianna (Devon) Smithhisler, and Michael Green. 26 great grandchildren; Colton, Jaxon, Jagger, Emersen, Presley, Braydon, Grace, Orion, Hally, Britton, Madeline, Mara, Lucy, Keeton, Lincoln, Eveylyn, Alyssa, Kara, Fiona, Logan, Edmund, Evelyn, Mark, Nicholas, Emma, and Easton.
