Nancy Alice (Kleiber) Burger

Nancy Alice Burger, 90, of Cheboygan, MI passed away on May 3, 2025 at her home. Nancy was born on August 12, 1934 in Escanaba, MI the daughter of Sidney Kleiber and Annie (Lamontagne) Kleiber. She grew up in Redford, MI, graduating from Redford High School. She went on to attend classes at Indiana University/Purdue University in Indianapolis, IN. In August 1955, she married Robert Burger. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, discussing politics, scrabble, gambling, and most notably Trivial Pursuit. In her younger years she enjoyed horseback riding, camping, and traveling.

Nancy is survived by her children Patrick Burger, Anne Samples, and Timothy (Becky) Burger, grandchildren Grace Burger, Benjamin Burger, Dustin (Christiana) Samples, Adam (Lauren) Samples, Abigail Samples, Zachary (Faith) Tibbits, Scarlett Burger, and Liberty Burger. She is also survived by several great grandchildren as well as extended family. She was preceded by her husband Robert Burger, grandson Spencer Tibbits, her parents Sidney and Annie Kleiber, and brother Sidney Kleiber.

Burial of ashes will take place later in the summer. Details will be announced at a later date.
