Nancy Carolyn (Lybarker) Cook

Nancy Carolyn Cook passed away quietly at the age of 80. Nancy was born on April 26th 1940 in Petoskey, Michigan to John and Katherine Lybarker.

Nancy grew up in Petoskey and attended Petoskey High School, where she met the love of her life, Francis ‘Bud’ Cook. Together they raised four children, while living in Conway, Michigan. Bud passed away on May, 13, 2005.  

Nancy will be greatly missed by her immediate family, Sheryl (Matt) Seelye, Terry (Roxane) Cook, Nancy (Mark) Covell and Christy (Eric) Boese, as well as grandchildren Molly (Greg) Holland, Katie Gibson, Rachel (Max) Kleber, Trevor Cook, Brandon (Lauren) Covell, David (Katie) Covell, as well as great grandchild Connor Holland. Nancy’s brother John (Linda) Lybarker, sister in-law Barb (Paul) Cook and brother in-law Walter Cook will miss her greatly as well. Also mourning Nancy’s loss is a large extended family as well as more friends than can be counted. Nancy was preceded in death by her sister Sharon Sherman and her brother Jerry Lybarker.  

No immediate service will be held. Instead, an informal get-together will be held at a later date. Those wishing to donate in Nancy’s memory are asked to do so with their favorite charity.
