Otto L. Harvey

Otto Harvey, 92, of Petoskey, died June 30, 2019 at Villa at the Bay.

Otto was born on May 13, 1927, the son of Walter F. Harvey and Marion E. (Ecker) Harvey. He was a graduate from Charlevoix High School.

On July 22, 1955, he married Barbara Roff. Together, they had three children.

Otto worked various jobs in review printing, as a commercial fisherman and as a truck driver delivering fuel oil and gas for Derrer's.

More than anything, Otto loved being outdoors. He would go fishing any chance he could, he loved hunting as well, or even just a walk in the woods to look for mushrooms and blackberries. Otto was extremely fond of his two corgi dogs, Abby "A-bouncy-barky-yapper" and Bella.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Harvey; children, Charles Michael Harvey, Lorraine Susan Harvey and George Douglas (Cheri) Harvey; grandchildren, Roger Harvey, John and Meaghan Harvey; sister, Alice Harvey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Tracey and James Harvey; and his parents.

Otto will be remembered privately with a family services at a later date.
