Pamela Ann (Manchester) Walton

Pamela Manchester Walton passed away on Friday, March 26,2021 at Independence Village, Petoskey, Michigan.

Pamela was born to Lewis R and Maybelle Manchester on April 20, 1947 in Windsor Ontario Canada. When she was eight, her family relocated to Detroit Michigan. She enjoyed spending many summers of her youth in Belle River Ontario Canada and returning to Detroit Michigan for the winter. Even after immigrating to the United States, Pamela proudly retained her Canadian citizenship and heritage. She worked much of her young adult years in the field of accounting in the Detroit, Michigan area, it was there that she met and eventually married John D. Walton Sr in May of 1986. She spent the next 32 years by his side until his death in 2018. Pamela was a fierce friend and a gracious hostess. She enjoyed gardening and golf as well as producing and gifting amazing handmade needlework and knitting to family and friends. Pamela is survived by her brother Robert Manchester ( Shirley), her niece Sara Manchester, her nephews Robert Manchester II and Geoffrey Manchester, and her 5 step children, John Walton Jr (Ann), Sara Lynn Walton, Ann Robb, Michael Walton and Catherine Fieser (Stephen) in addition to her many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
