Paul Lee Collins Jr.

Paul Lee Collins, 58 of Indian River passed away on March 22, 2025 at home surrounded by his Mom, Step-dad, and his beloved dogs. Paul was born on November 26, 1966 in Traverse City, the son of Paul Lee Collins Sr and Janet Lockman. He grew up in Bellaire and attended school at Alden High School. On May 22, 1993 Paul married Tamara VerSluis. In his free time Paul took advantage of all the hunting and fishing that Northern Michigan had to offer.

Paul is survived by his mother Janet Rysztak, step-father Lawrence Rysztak, siblings Joe (Julie Goddard) Collins and Ben (Susan) Collins, step-sibling Abbi (Matthew) Ansorge, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Tamara Collins, his father Paul Lee Collins Sr, and his grandparents.

The family will be hosting a private event in the springtime and details will be announced at a later date.
