Ramon Procknow

Ramon Fredrick Willard Procknow, 56 lost his battle with cancer at his home in Levering on February 16, 2025.

Ramon was born November 22, 1968 to Ramon and Barbara Procknow. He grew up with his siblings, Tressie, Donna, Ramona and Dan.

Ramon was full of life, known for his loud, infectious personality and unwavering loyalty to his friends and family. He found joy in the simple pleasures—shooting pool, sharing drinks, and spending time with those he cared about most. Ramon loved big holiday meals with friends and family. He enjoyed fixing the meal and making sure everyone’s plate was full and then refilled. He gave away fishing poles to local kids, reminding them someone was looking out for them.

An artist at heart, Ramon had a creative spirit that shone through in everything he did. His love for his family and friends was undeniable, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ramon is survived by his partner Tammy Blumke, daughter Aidan Procknow, Sister Donna Procknow, brother Dan Procknow, many nieces and nephews and his dog Dillinger.

A Celebration of Ramon’s life and benefit will be held at Alanson Riverside Bar & Grill on March 9th. There will be an interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in the spring.

Memorials will be used to fulfill Ramon’s final wishes for burial. They may be sent to Nordman-Christian Funeral Home 302 South Huron Cheboygan, MI 49721.

Rest easy, Ramon. You will never be forgotten.
