Richard David Furgeson

Richard David Furgeson, 66 of Alanson, Michigan died July 24, 2020 at his home. He was born October 6th, 1953 in Petoskey to Leroy, Sr. and Anna (Beyer) Furgeson.

Richard grew up in Petoskey and attended Petoskey Schools. He was a drywall contractor, enjoyed gardening, mushroom picking, tearing apart stuff in his shop and an avid pool player.

He is survived by his wife Brenda (Morgan) Furgeson; 3 children, Tabatha Furgeson, Tod (Misty) Furgeson, and Angela (Amy) Furgeson; grandchildren, Sara, Gavyn, Samantha and Olivia; great grandchild Francis Huber; 3 brothers, Robert (Patty) Furgeson, Ronald (Maria) Furgeson and Randall (Melissa) Furgeson; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leroy, Sr. and Anna Furgeson; and two brothers, Leroy Furgeson, Jr. and Roger Furgeson.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering of friends and family to share stories and memories on August 8th, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at his home, 4386 Russell Street, Alanson, MI 49706.
