Richard Levi Maine, 74 of Afton, was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 14, 1946. After a long-fought battle with lung disease, Richard entered heavens gates on January 8, 2021.
A beloved father, brother, uncle, and faithful friend; he loved music, motorcycles and spending time with friends and family. Richard had a wonderful sense of humor, a charismatic flair and love of life that will not be forgotten. He made the best cheeseburger and appreciated the importance of a good pizza-pie more than anyone.
Richard was predeceased by his beloved parents, Jack M Maine and Myrtle I Maine as well as his sisters, Barbara Todd, and Bonnie Jenkins. He is survived by his brother John Maine, sister Betty Ciolli (Dave); and his children, Barbara Wierszewski (Greg), Amy Maine, Betty Palmer, Jack Maine (Catherine), LeeAnn McDonald (Pete); his cherished grandchildren, Alina, Tatyana, Gregory, Alyssa, Garret, Heather, Pearson, Emilie, Timothy, Ava, Mollie, Jaclynn, Joseph, Peter (Mackie) and Konar; five adored great-grandchildren, Harlow, Emmett, McKinlee, Colson and Jackson; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held 11:00am on January 30 at Stone Funeral Home & Cremation Services (6038 Prospect Street, Indian River, MI 49749). Burial in the spring at Silver Lake Cemetery.
Masks and social distancing are required. Attendance will be limited to 25 people.
