Richard Max Metsger, age 97 of Petoskey passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Mallard Cove in Petoskey.

Richard was born on December 22, 1924 in Burlington, IN the son of A. Clark and Beatrice E. (Bowman) Metsger.

He is survived by his son Jerry (Donna) Walker; daughters Rebecca (Ken) Crenshaw, Susan (Jim Doyle) Metsger and Melinda (Dan) Phebus.

A celebration of Richard’s life will be held on July 23, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Mallard Cove in Petoskey and Stout Funeral Home in Burlington, Indiana at a later date.
