Richard (Dick) F. Woodruff

Richard F. Woodruff, 80, of Cheboygan passed away peacefully Saturday morning May 29, 2021.  Dick was born August 17, 1940 in Onaway to Earl and Frieda (Frasier) Woodruff.  He grew up in Cheboygan and graduated from Cheboygan High School in 1960. On April 30, 1966 he married Linda L. Wilcome in Cheboygan where the couple made their home and raised their family. Dick served in the Army National Guard from 1963 - 1969.  He worked at Procter and Gamble in Cheboygan from 1967 til 1990. He went to work at J. B. Webb in Pellston where he retired from in 1999. He was a Cub Scout, Scout Master. He and Linda where member of Cross in the Woods National Shrine.

Dick is survived by his children Rick Woodruff, Dawn (Chris Chrestensen) Woodruff, grandchildren Ari and Asa Woodruff, Dilan and Grace Chrestensen. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda, his parents and brother Bill Woodruff.

A funeral Mass will be held at Cross in the Woods on Friday June 4th at 12 Noon with visitation from 11-12 in the gathering space. Burial at Mullett Burt Cemetery will follow the funeral Mass.
