Richard "Rich" David Anderson

Richard "Rich" David Anderson, 42 of Alanson, Michigan passed away on December 30, 2021 at his home.

Son of Eric Huntley and Diane (Anderson) Williams, Rich was born on September 8, 1979 in Utica, New York where he grew up and attended school.

On August 27, 2011, he married Megan Sullenger in Alpena, Michigan.

He was a member and participated in numerous organizations and committees in support of the Republican Party.

Rich was a big fan of U of M and the Yankees. He loved watching football and enjoyed shooting pistols. His favorite thing in life was politics and his family.

Rich was a member of the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and an avid member of the GOP.

Rich was a brilliant man who loved his family. He was a loving husband and tender-hearted father. He was ferociously loyal to his friends. Rich made his faith a priority in life so we will rejoice knowing that we will see him again in heaven.

He is survived by his wife Megan Anderson; his children: Landon, Reagan, Wilson, and Lincoln; his mother Diane (Wally) Williams; his many brothers and sisters; and numerous other family members.

Rich is preceded in death by his father Eric Huntley.

Those wishing to make a charitable donation in Rich’s memory are asked by family to consider the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Petoskey, Michigan.

A memorial service for Rich will be at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Petoskey, Michigan on January 8, 2021 at 3:00 PM and will be officiated by Pastor David Horton.
