Robert John Beebe, 69, of Indian River, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 28, 1955, Robert lived a life full of adventure, generosity, and love, leaving an unforgettable mark on all who knew him.
Robert proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Enterprise, a time that sparked his lifelong pride in service and love of adventure. After his military service, he ventured to Alaska, working in the oilfields during his early adulthood before pursuing a career in Michigan as an electrician.
An avid outdoorsman, Robert loved hunting, fishing, and tying flies, passions that reflected his deep connection to nature and the simple joys of life. Known for his mischievous spirit and kind nature, he was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh.
Robert’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his loving children: Linzie Schmidt (Beau), Dustin Beebe (Annie), and Dylan Beebe (Megan); and his cherished grandchildren: Vianna, Nicole, Evelyn, Henry, Ambrose, and Hutch. He is also survived by his siblings, Alice Custard, Debbie Athey (Skip Averill), Edward Athey, Mike Beebe (Elsie) David Beebe (Londa), his many nieces, nephews, and his great nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William Beebe and Flora Vienna, his brother, Charles William Beebe II, and his brother-in-law Donn, whose memories he always carried with him.
He will be remembered for his warmth, his unwavering kindness, his can-do attitude, and the countless memories he created with family and friends.
A graveside celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on May 24, 2025, at Silver Lake Cemetery in Wolverine, Mi.

Robert’s legacy of kindness, love, laughter, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
