Robert J. "Bob" Hopkins, Sr., age 73, of Topinabee passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at his home. He was born April 19, 1945 in Carson City, the son of Johnnie and Dorothy (Antcliff) Hopkins. On January 1, 1997 in Stanton, MI, Bob married Cindy Hair who survives.

Bob was a cattle farmer for many years in the Sheridan area until he and Cindy moved to Topinabee in 1998. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed "tinkering", fishing and deer hunting.

Besides his wife Cindy, survivors include his five children, Robert Hopkins, Jr. of Grand Rapids, Chris (Michelle) Hopkins of Lakeview, MI, Chad (Crystal) Hopkins of Topinabee, Erin Hopkins of Rose City and Robert Hair-Hopkins of Topinabee and five grandchildren, Grace, Madelyn, Dylan, Jadin and Noah. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Clay Hopkins and his sister, Peggy Clements.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by the Lintz Funeral Home.
