Robert E. Mcfadden Jr.

Robert E. McFadden (87) of Indian River, Michigan passed away peacefully the morning of
March 18th, 2024.

Born February 4, 1937 in New York, NY, the son of Robert and Lucille McFadden. Bob and Jessie met in White
plains New York and married August 23rd, 1958.

Bob attended Ionia College in New Rochelle, New York, where he obtained a degree in Business and  Accounting. Bob's first job was at Montgomery Ward, then moved onto General Motors, General
Foods and ended at OMI where he retired.

After retiring, Bob and Jessie moved up North to fulfill the dream of living on the Banks of Burt
Lake in Indian River. There he made the most of what the up North lifestyle had to offer. He took
up Golf at the Indian River Golf course and made lots of friends and memories. Bob found
enjoyment in golfing, boating, fishing, skiing and snowmobiling. In his free time he took up wood
carving and enjoyed doing home improvement projects. They soon joined the Transfiguration
Episcopal Church where he enjoyed volunteering, attending services and being surrounded by
an amazing and caring congregation.

Bob was known for his great wit and sense of humor, you were guaranteed in his presence a
great laugh and smile!

Bob will be truly missed by those he left behind, his loving wife Jessie; Sons Bobby, Joey,
Patrick and Brian; Daughter in-laws, Ann (Bobby), Jennifer (Joey), Tracie (Patrick) and Nancy
(Brian); Grandchildren, Nick, Ryan, Shannon, Jimmy, Amanda, Mason, Griffin, Declan and
Maeve; Great grandchildren Cora, Otto, Roen and Nola.
