Roberta Marjorie Howell, 94, of Harbor Springs, MI peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her 5 children. She was born on December 31, 1930 in Susquehanna, PA to Robert and Marion Tickner.
Roberta was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Marvin E. Howell. She is survived by her children Donald G. Albert (Alice), Laurie Albert (Guy), William R. Albert (Leahann), Julie Zoerhof (Dan), Sarah Albert; her stepchildren Timothy Howell (Christi), Patrick Howell (Karen), and Amy McNamee; her grandchildren Alexis, Tyler, Zell, Neal, Eva, Ayla, Zoey, Alicia, Brian, Casey, and Kevin; her great grandchildren Maddox, Harlow, Evelyn, Piper, Lyla, and Nico.
Roberta attended nursing school in Ithaca, NY. She then married Donald G. Albert, MD and moved to Michigan in 1952. They eventually settled in Bloomfield Hills to raise their five children.
Roberta married Marvin E. Howell on March 16, 1978 and they moved to Northern Michigan on Walloon Lake and then Birchwood Farms. They enjoyed many years together on the lake, golfing at Bay View Country Club, and spending time with cherished friends and family.
Known for her selfless heart, fun spirit, witty humor, and artistic ability-Roberta was loved by all. She was an endlessly loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
